BTC +3.2% · ETH +4.2% · SOL +5.5% · $75M liquidated (35% longs) · top mover WLD +21%
The longs were sweating bullets today, as the short squeeze continued to bite. Thirty-five percent of them got liquidated, a tidy $75 million in losses. The bears must have been cackling with glee, but not quite as much as the bulls, who saw their assets rise by 3.2% for BTC, 4.2% for ETH, and a whopping 5.5% for SOL. Meanwhile, the top gainers were having a field day, with WLD spiking 21%, ONDO and VVV each jumping 12%. The only ones getting left behind were the top losers, SIREN, BCH, and QNT, which fell by 6%, 5%, and 1% respectively. Amid all the chaos, FTT spiked 50% on the news of Sam Bankman-Fried's pardon bid, because who doesn't love a good drama.Apparently, the bears won today.
